We live in Olathe, but my husband frequently picks up Moti Mahal on his way home from the airport after work trips. I'm a vegetarian and my go-to order is the Mushroom Mattar Makhani. The peas and mushrooms are cooked perfectly in the most delicious sauce. It's so rich and flavorful and well-seasoned. Probably my favorite dish at any of the Indian restaurants I've tried in KC (although I'm hardly an authority on Indian cuisine). I highly recommend it whether you're a vegetarian or an omnivore!
The food was delicious. The service was great. We had a party of 5 at 7:00 pm and were there until 9:00pm when they closed. There were only two other tables of people eating in. A lot of people came to pick up carry out. I would definitely eat here again.
The service, impeccable. The non-vegitarian family meal with substitution of garlic Naan - delightful. We ordered 4 for 3 people. One Hungry friend ate 2. My GF and I had a great take home for later. We'll definitely be back. So good.
Easy date night spot in north Kansas City. Both of us got different versions of the korma and loved!! Food came out fast and was so delicious. Highly recommend the korma with a side of garlic naan. Also, biggest samosas I have ever had.
They were the only Indian restaurant open on the 4th and that way luck for us! They were very friendly and the food was amazing! The atmosphere was dark and basic but the food and the friendly service made up for that.
I had a great takeout experience here the other night. I ordered online for carryout, and the menu was easy to navigate and pay. The food was finished at the predicted time, I got there a bit earlier, and they kindly let me sit at one of the tables to wait, as it wasn't very busy when I got there (around 8pm on a weeknight). The hostess and waiters seemed friendly and nice. The place was small and cozy. Nothing too fancy but was clean. The food was perfect and delicious. I really appreciate that they have paneer tikka masala as a menu option. Not all places have the cheese option in that tikka masala sauce that I love so much. It is so delicious and enjoyable to eat that way. The garlic naan I ordered was also very good, I ate it all in one go. I had enough for leftovers of the rice and main dish. Reasonable prices for the amount and quality of food you get. Would highly recommend this to anyone who wants flavorful and yummy food! Good for singles, families, and any group.
Simple restaurant with home cooked Indian food. For a small place their menu is pretty large. There is something to please everyone including the vegans in the family. The staff is courteous and very nice. Many take out orders and only about 12-15 tables, they fill up during peak hours but food is served fast and tables turned quickly. Great lunch spot!
This was absolutely fantastic. Looks like a hole in the wall place - however service was spectacular. The food timing came out perfectly with appetizers and the main meal - even though we ordered everything together. Portions were huge. Food was piping hot and so delicious. We will be back!!!
